Internet has produced so many experts. They can give answers to all questions. Most of them are analysts who surgically analyse what’s happening around with reference to past version of facts, quoting history or even sometimes data which is not interpreted well. As we do not have time to delve deeply into things, we consume their ‘expert comments’ quite hurriedly forming biases in how we think of things. Our own common sense has a little role to play as those thinking gaps would be filled by many experts. Politics, economics and religion are the areas with most number of experts as it need only conviction and not accurate predictions.
But strangely, no one could predict most important events in history, or things which could significantly impact our lives. Many experts are experts in the past version of facts. Present version changes so fast that analysts or experts fail to recognise a pattern, or sometimes a new pattern is formed. Expertise is overrated? Or are experts biased by their own version of facts. Can they offer unbiased views? Or is the world moving to strong opinions less powered by data? Or being human itself is making it difficult to offer unbiased rational views?
Do not take experts seriously. They are insecure about their own version of facts. They are gambling with their world views. Playing with probabilities of their views clicking through.
