I’ve been working on a baby side project for last one year, apart from my consulting business. As part of that, I spent a lot of time with students, faculty members, employers, edupreneurs and parents to see what is the education for them. It is called Tribr. The idea is to reimagine education and the way we learn. There areĀ 677 universities, 37,204 colleges and 11,443 stand-alone institutions and 20 million students, in India. Out of these, 90% of are wasting time and resources. The traditional archaic way of education is not helping students to acquire skills or find jobs. A new way of skilling is required to stay relevant and acquire economically useful skills. The crux of my learning is that the only way new skills can be acquired is a blend of four things:
- Organised learning communities
- Online learning
- Learning Bootcamps
- Real life projects
